Turn On Two-Factor Authentication in Two Minutes
Passwords leak. People reuse them, write them down or type them into fake websites. Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second lock: a 6-digit code from an app on your phone that changes every 30 seconds.
What you need
A free authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator, installed from your phone's official app store.
Set it up
- Sign in to EriPay and go to Settings → Security.
- Choose Two-Factor Authentication and tap enable.
- Open your authenticator app, tap + and scan the QR code shown by EriPay.
- Type the 6-digit code from the app into EriPay to confirm.
From now on, after your password, EriPay asks for the current code from your app.
Keep access if you change phones
- Before resetting or replacing your phone, move your authenticator accounts to the new phone (most apps have a transfer option).
- Keep any recovery information somewhere safe and offline.
- If you lose access, contact support from your registered email.
Never share your codes
A 2FA code is as private as your password. Anyone who asks you to read out a code, even someone claiming to be from EriPay, is trying to break into your account.
Combine it with your PIN
Password plus 2FA protects your sign-in. Your Wallet PIN protects every payment. Together they make your EriPay account very hard to misuse.
