How to Fund Your EriPay Wallet by Bank Transfer
For larger amounts, a bank transfer is often the most convenient way to fund your wallet, especially for businesses paying from a company account.
Step by step
- Sign in and tap Deposit.
- Choose your UGX wallet and the Bank Transfer (UGX) method.
- Enter the amount. EriPay shows you the bank account to pay into and a reference.
- Make the transfer from your bank app, internet banking or at the branch. Include the reference so we can match your payment quickly.
- Upload the receipt or proof of payment and submit.
- Your wallet is credited once our team confirms the money has arrived.
Tips for a smooth deposit
- Only use the bank details shown inside your EriPay account. We will never send different account numbers by SMS or WhatsApp.
- Send the exact amount you entered.
- Keep your bank receipt until the deposit shows as completed.
- Transfers between banks can take longer than same-bank transfers, depending on the banks' clearing times.
Fees
EriPay does not charge for bank deposits. Your bank may charge its own transfer fee.
Who uses bank deposits?
Businesses topping up for bulk payouts, agents refilling float, and individuals moving savings into a goal all find bank transfer useful for amounts that are above typical mobile money limits.
